About the day

Anger Awareness Week was launched in 2000 by the British Association of Anger Management. It highlights uncontrolled anger as a social issue and its links to stress-related illness, relationship breakdown, workplace disruption and domestic violence.

The week is timed for the start of the Christmas run-up, one of the most stressful times of the year. The organiser publishes free resources, including a Keep Your Cool Kit covering the basics of anger management.
