About the day

Vaisakhi is the most important date in the Sikh calendar and also a spring harvest festival in Punjab. UK gurdwaras hold Nagar Kirtan processions, with some of the largest in Southall, Birmingham and Leicester. In some years it is marked on 13 April, so check local gurdwara dates.
