About the day
The National Campaign for Charitable Work runs each Ramadan on Ehsan, Saudi Arabia's national platform for charitable work. The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) launched the second edition in 2022, after a first edition the year before.
The sixth edition, in Ramadan 2026, raised over SR1.757 billion through more than 26.5 million transactions, according to figures reported by the Saudi Press Agency. Donations supported healthcare, education and social welfare.
Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin on 8 February 2027, subject to moon sighting, so campaign dates are provisional until announced.
